About your teacher
Varvara Krivchenkova de Bracho is a professional practising artist , with a long teaching experience.
Varvara has lived in Moscow, London and now based in Paris and fluent in English, Spanish, Russian and French.
In Moscow, Oxford and London she used to teach the memebers of diplomatic community and in Paris she also gives courses in painting watercolour, oil and drawing to the members of OECD. Also Varvara exhibits her works widely in London and Paris. Her works are in many privite and public collections.
Commissions
Also if you have a particular place in Paris you love and would like to have a painting of it you could discuss it with the artist and even BE PAINTED in it!
Your commission will take only couple of days to complete and you will return home with a very PERSONAL painting from Paris.
Learn to watercolor in Paris
Surprise your friends and family with a Postcard of Paris painted by YOU.
Each session meets at the artist's atelier accross form the Champs de Mars for tea or coffee (unless otherwise arranged) to discuss you morning tour. Afterwards, you will work individually or in semi private groups "en plein air".
In only a few hours you will have created your own Postcard from Paris!

Dates: Monday morning and on request
Duration: 2 hrs
~ With the guiding of the artist you will chose a subject from the wide range of paintings of the French Masters or you might come up with your own idea.
What you will learn
~ You will learn the rules of correct composition, technique of drawing and principals of watercolour. Also you will expand your horizon with the knowledge of contrast and similar colours, colour wheel and much more!
~ You will work with watercolour or ink on artist's paper. All materials are provided.
Where you will paint
If weather permits you will be painting in the Champs de Mars just in front of the Eiffel Tower, the most famous monument in thbe world in all seasons and weather.Or you can sit in a local cafe and paint a typical Parisian scene with the Militay School in the background.
Other times you will work in the artist's atelier in 5 min walk from the Eiffel Tower. It has a beautiful view from balcony on a Parisian Boulevard and you might chose this subject for your postcard or work on copying.
On special request we can select other famous places or if you have a long stay in Paris we can discuss your own project or a series of paintings and work on them in artist's studio or around town.
Making Postcards
~ Nearby at the print store you can have have color copies of your
original watercolors which you can send to your friends.
